Questions

The things worth knowing before you buy.

Including the two that usually turn up late: what it costs beyond the licence, and what happens to your project’s data. Both are answered first.

What it costs, and what else it costs.

How much is it?

$25 per seat per month, with 70,000 model tokens included. A seat is one machine that can run the app. Every seat gets the whole tool: both jobs, all ten output formats, and your own fields. Nothing is held back for a higher plan, and how much model time you get is the only difference. A studio seat is $120 with 500,000. If you need no limit at all, talk to us.

Card payments are not open yet, so nothing is charged through the site: we set seats up by hand and agree any invoice with you first. Prices are in US dollars, before any VAT or sales tax, which is always shown before you pay. Studios that need invoicing or a purchase order can ask for either. The pricing page lists exactly what a seat covers.

Can I try it before I pay?

Yes, for 14 days, on your own project. An account is free, and from it you can start one evaluation: the whole app, every format, both jobs, with a Seat’s 70,000 tokens of model time. There is no card to enter and nobody to talk to first. It is not a cut down version: an evaluation that could not do the real work would prove nothing.

One evaluation per account. When it ends, the account needs seats to keep going, and everything you made during it is still yours. The demo needs no account at all, if you would rather look first.

Do I also pay for the AI?

No. The model time comes with the plan. It runs on our account, so there is one bill, in dollars, from us. That covers image renders of your objects as well as generating them. There is no charge per object and no second invoice turning up from somewhere else at the end of the month.

What you get instead is an amount of model time, and it can run out. When it does, it stops until the month turns over or you move up a plan. It will not keep spending quietly and bill you afterwards. You can also still save your own provider key in the app’s settings, and then that provider bills you and your included time goes unspent.

Better you hear it here than at the end of the month. It is also why this site keeps quoting token counts: rebalancing 24 objects measured 1,210 input tokens, and rebalancing 4,000 costs the same, because the model is shown each tier’s range rather than the objects in it. That saving is yours, not ours.

What you need before it is useful.

What do I need to run it?

Windows, and nothing else to install beside it. Sign in once inside the app and it checks your licence every couple of weeks, not every time it opens. Making and retuning objects needs an internet connection, because both call a model.

Two ways: an installer that gives you a Start Menu entry and a proper uninstall, or a single .exe that runs from wherever you put it. The installer is the smaller download, and studio IT can push it silently with /VERYSILENT. Neither one needs administrator rights.

Why does Windows warn me when I open it?

The application is not code-signed, so the first time you open it, Windows SmartScreen shows Windows protected your PC and lists the publisher as unknown. Choose More info, then Run anyway. Your browser may ask you to confirm the download first, for the same reason.

Signing says who published a file; it does not change what the file does. To confirm the copy you downloaded is the one we published, compare its SHA-256 with the value on your account page. In PowerShell, Get-FileHash prints it.

Does it work with my engine?

It writes 10 formats, including a Unity ScriptableObject, an Unreal Data Table row, and plain JSON that anything can read. What comes out is data and the code around it, so an engine we have never heard of is one JSON import away. Every snippet on the demo was written by the real code at build time, not typed out by hand for the page.

Can it generate art or 3D models?

No, and better to say so up front. Nothing here outputs a glTF or an FBX. Icons and 3D blockouts are drawn on your own machine from each object’s id, so they are free, work offline and look the same every time. They are reference for a modeller, not a replacement for one.

What does it not do?

Windows only, for now. It writes object data, not meshes and not story. Retune needs content you have already shipped, so on a brand new project you get the easy half and not much else. And the model time in a plan runs out: when a month’s tokens are gone it stops and says so rather than billing you afterwards.

What leaves your machine.

Does my game data get sent to you?

Your project is never uploaded. The app reads it on your machine and sends only what one request needs. Where that request goes depends on whose key pays for it, and it is worth being exact here.

On your own provider key, the request goes from your machine straight to the model provider and never passes through us. On the model time in your plan, it comes through us, because the account paying for it is ours. Your prompt, your field names and the handful of objects the request needs do reach our servers on the way. We use them to answer that request and to count its tokens. We keep the counts. We do not keep the content. The privacy policy says the same thing in the form a lawyer will want.

What happens to my copies if Object Forge AI closes?

The app stops within 28 days, and what you made keeps working. Each installed copy checks its licence with us every 14 days and keeps running without reaching us for up to 28 days after its last successful check. If we closed, it could not check in, so it would stop within those 28 days. Model time from a plan runs through our servers, so that would stop straight away.

Everything you made stays yours. The objects and the code are plain files in your own project, and nothing in your game needs this app to run, so what you have shipped keeps working exactly as it does now.

Who owns what it produces?

You do. We claim no ownership of the objects, data or code you make. Ship it, sell it, change it. That still holds after you cancel. The terms say it in one sentence rather than three pages.

Getting a person.

Can I talk to a person?

Yes. Every message through the contact form is read by a person and answered within one working day. You get a copy of what you sent, so you have something to reply to.

Still deciding?

The demo answers most of what is left, and it asks for nothing. If your question is about your own content, that one needs a person.

Not ready to talk to anyone? Try it on your own project first. An account comes with one free 14-day evaluation: the whole app, with a Seat’s 70,000 tokens of model time, and no card. Create an account
